PROFESSIONAL AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP WITH TALMAN MADSEN
DJI Ferntech and Talman Madsen welcome you to join us on a Friday evening for our Professional Aerial Photography Workshop.
Talman Madsen is a photographer, story-teller and adventurer. Based in Christchurch, he has explored New Zealand from top to bottom — climbing mountains, sleeping under stars and getting off the beaten track, all the while capturing his adventures through the lens of a DJI drone. He was named New Zealand Geographic Young Photographer of the Year 2016 with an impressive shot taken from a Phantom 4, and launched a photo-book of his landscape photography in 2017.
Talman will talk through how he approaches landscapes and scouts new locations, drawing on his multitude of professional and personal experience to give practical advice on capturing epic aerial photographs. He will explain how drones open up the possibilities of landscape photography, talk through his kit in detail, and reveal how he turned a hobby into a professional career.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with Talman and the DJI Ferntech team, as well as a showcase of the new Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
The Professional Aerial Photography Workshop will be held at 6pm, Friday 8 June at the DJI Authorised Retail Store, 96 New North Road, Eden Terrace, Auckland.
Registration for this event is now closed. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for future events.

DISCOVER THE POSSIBILITIES
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro redefines the iconic Phantom series, bringing aerial imaging to new heights. The 1-inch sensor in the Phantom 4 Pro camera is four times the size of the Phantom 4, giving it wider dynamic range, better low light capabilities, sharper and more detailed images, and a maximum ISO of 12,800.
